One Last Christmas Get Together...

Christmas night, we got together with Mr. Swain, Lisa, Al, and Katlyn and grilled hamburgers and hotdogs....And then exchanged a few gifts. We always love being with them...Just like family!

This is what our living room looked like before Rhett found it...Spoiled much??!!

We had big plans of recording Rhett as he walked into the living room to find his stash, but as Brandon and I were sawing logs, Rhett came scooting into our room and said "Hey Mama, I've just been in here scootin' around on my new scooter....Who left all those presents?" So much for that idea!LOL!

We finally couldn't take it anymore and headed outside to try out the bike and scooter

Our Christmas was Blessed beyond measure and one of my favorite parts was that Rhett fully understood that this day wasn't just about presents, but about a baby that was born to save us from our sins. We sang Happy Birthday To Jesus...and he told us several times that day that today was Jesus's Birthday. Talk about make a Mama proud!

My sister Kimberly, her husband Ben, and their sweet daughter Lacey were able to be with us this year for Christmas and it was SUCH a blessing!

That just sounded like a good idea tonight! So, we loaded up and hit Bruster's...Then headed out to look at Christmas lights! These are the kind of nights I love!

Christmas Program at Church

Today we had our Christmas program at church and Rhett actually did a solo of his song, "Twinkle, Twinkle Christmas Star"! He did great...We were SO proud! Check out that huge piece of gum in his mouth...That is called "bribery"...LOL! And the shirt, yeah it was tucked in...For all of about 2.5 seconds!LOL!
