Christmas Tree Farm

As is our tradition, Friday after Thanksgiving, we headed out to the Christmas Tree Farm to pick out our perfect tree. We set a record time this year and found our tree within just a few minutes...Brandon asked me if I was sure I was feeling OK. If you knew how indecisive I can be, you would understand what a big deal this was!LOL!

We had some light problems which led to a long night of decorating and once we got the train around the tree, we realized that the batteries were dead...And yep, we had promised Rhett a working train in the morning. If it had been up to me, I'm afraid we may have had a disappointed little boy...But his Daddy headed out to Wal-Mart at Midnight to get his boy some batteries. He has his Daddy SO wrapped!

And then, to top things off....He wasn't all that crazy about the train. He LOVED it last year, but this year he could take it or leave it. Isn't that the way it goes with kids??!!
