Father's Day Video

I made this video as part of Brandon's Daddy's day gift and I could tell by watching him watch it, it really meant alot to him. I made him one last year, and he told me that he had really hoped that I would make him another one this year. Anyways, here it is....You'll have to pause the music player at the bottom before you play it since it has music. And please keep in mind that I am no professional at this!LOL!

Father's Day

Rhett has no idea how Blessed he is to have Brandon for his Daddy, but what he does know at this age, is that he wants to be just like him. They truly are a pair...Just watching them together makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time. It's just beyond heartwarming! I pray that they are always as close as they are today! Rhett told him "Happy Daddy's Day, Daddy" a million times yesterday and every time I could feel my heart swell a little more and my eyes teared up...So I can only imagine how it made Brandon feel. Wild Adventures

On Friday, I took Rhett, Katlyn, and one of her friends to Wild Adventures. It was our first trip of the summer, and Rhett LOVED it! He's been talking about going back ever since we got home!LOL! His favorite was the Wave Pool by far...He loved getting knocked down by the waves and swimming his way to me. It was amazing to watch him put to work his new swimming skills outside of a normal pool environment...I was very impressed to say the least, and even had a few other Moms comment on how well he could swim!

This is where he's saying "Want Mama to put the camera down and come fwim with me"...He amazes me at how much (and how well) he talks! I guess he has ALOT of practice!LOL!

On the log ride by himself...I asked him if he wanted me to ride it with him and he told me "No, I want to ride it self, I'm a big boy."...I have to say, that stung a little.

But I am very proud of his independence too...Just another one of those bittersweet moments. Can you see his little peanut head at the top of the hill?LOL!

He loved the roller coaster! (used to be called the Ant Farm Express, not sure if that's still the name though) I didn't get a picture, beacuse I was on it with him. When we would start going up the big hill, he would say "I'm not scared, I'm so excited"...Too funny! For those of you who know Rhett, it's so funny to watch him talk himself up!LOL!

Look at that tired and hot face...One we got out of the water park, you couldn't stand the heat long, so we soon headed home!

Family Day at HFWBC

On Thursday, we all went to the family day at Homerville Freewill Baptist Church, where Rhett went to VBS all week! Rhett had an awesome time all week, and was completely spoiled ROTTEN by Lisa and Katlyn!LOL! I haven't gotten the "all through the week" pictures from my friend yet, but I took some at the Family Day that I thought I would share.

Last Weekend

After VBS ended on Friday, I was ready for a nice quiet weekend! We hung around here and did a whole lot of nothin'! Saturday, Brandon fixed a yummy breakfast(he's the breakfast cooker in the family!LOL), Rhett played in the sprinklers and ran around like a crazy ape (what he does best!LOL), and after he went to bed we grilled some steaks and watched a movie...My favorite kind of day!

This is what happened to it! LOL! Brandon had the bright idea of letting Rhett run his 4-wheeler through the sprinklers...Yep, the first run through, he broke the sprinkler head!LOL!

Vacation Bible School

I have been so behind in blogging, but we've just been having too much fun! Last week, we had our VBS at church. I always love VBS time...There is nothing more humbling than seeing God's hand at work in His children! I had 13 in my class...And I can tell you that I slept VERY good all week!LOL! Trip To MiMi's

On Thursday, Me, Memaw, and Rhett set out to South Carolina for a trip to MiMi's house. We had such a good time, and we even got to spend some time with Kim and Lacey Kay, so that made it even better!

Fun Weekend

On Friday, to celebrate our first week of swimming lessons, Memaw and I took Rhett to Fox's Pizza to play for a while. As you can see, he had a blast! His favorites are definitely the driving games!

With his tickets that he/we won he got a whoopie cushion, a dinosaur tattoo, and two dum dums...He was most happy with the suckers for sure! My little candy junkie!

On Saturday, they had a shindig at Home Depot and since that is Rhett's most favorite store, we couldn't miss out!LOL!
