The other day, while we were riding around the huntin' club lookin' for deer and coon tracks, Rhett decided he wanted to have a little photo shoot!LOL! That's pretty odd since he's usually sick to death of me always taking his picture!LOL! He has such an animated personality and it comes out in all the pictures I take of him...I love it!
Driving with Daddy
On another note, we have been to the huntin' club 3 times lately and killed a snake all three times...2 timber rattlers and a moccasin. YUCK! They must be really on the move with cooler weather starting to set in. You can bet I'll have my snake boots on when I head out to hunt on opening day next month!

Another Fun Sunday....
Sunday after church we went to Rhett's friend Caleb's 5th birthday party at the sprinkler park...All the kids had a blast!
All the kids (minus 1 I think)
Fun in the sprinklers
Ready for some cake
Hit it Big Boy!
Gathering up the goodies
Cheesin' because he got some gum! Robbin, he is SUCH a "gum junkie" like Chance used to be!LOL!
Happy Birthday, Caleb!
Flatlanders and More....
After the Home Depot Workshop, we headed to the Flatlanders for a little while. It was pretty hot, so we didn't stay that long, but Rhett enjoyed himself!
Walking to the festivities
Riding the train
Petting the pony
Rhett was so excited about this shirt we bought him...He calls it his "Deacon Coon Dog" shirt!LOL!
On the Sunday after that we went to Ashlynn's (Brent and Melisa's daughter) birthday party at Jungle Jyms...Rhett had a blast!
Brandon and Rhett with Braxton (Brent and Melisa's son)...Isn't he a cutie???
Rhett put in and pitched a fit to skate...I thought it was a disaster waiting to happen!LOL! I was right! It only took 10 seconds for this:
To turn into this:
Needless to say, he hates skating!LOL! It took longer to put the skates on than it did for him to realize he hated them!
He did, however, LOVE this racecar!
Puttin' air in the tires...He is his Daddy's boy!

Home Depot Workshop
A couple Saturdays ago, we went to another Home Depot workshop and as usual Rhett loved it. This time they made a beanbag toss. I love watching him and his Daddy build something together...It just melts my heart!
Trying out the finished product
And no trip to Home Depot is ever complete without getting on every single lawnmower....
Big, Green Tractor
Rhett's favorite song these days is "Big, Green Tractor" by Jason Aldean. The other day, he made me listen to it all the way to school and all the way home. Needless to say, even though Brandon and I both love the song, we're a bit tired of it. Today, I let him listen to it over and over on the way to school, but on the way home I had to tell him that the Big, Green Tractor song was tired and it was taking a rest!LOL! Anyways, Rhett has a huge love for the "green and yellow" machines! He can spot on a mile away! Most of the time we hear "There's a John Deere tractor" from Rhett before we even see it! So, when I found this yard sale beauty the other day, I knew Rhett would LOVE it....
I was not disappointed...Not a day has went by that he hasn't been finding stuff to fill that bucket up with and dumping it in the woods!
He had been asking for a while to ride in the trailer, but I tried my best to explain to him that if I or his Daddy got on the tractor to drive him, the tractor would be no more!LOL! Luckily, his friend Jett came to the rescue one day!
Switcheroo
Huh?????
That was my reaction when I found Rhett walking around the house like this:
I have not a clue what kind of look he was going for!LOL!
I have not a clue what kind of look he was going for!LOL!

Rhett's Very 1st Day Of Preschool
Rhett's 1st Day of Preschool went great today! He was SO excited and dove right in head first, as he does in everything! He didn't even think about shedding a tear...It's a good thing, since I shed enough for us both! He looked SO big in that classroom today..It's one of those images that will be burned in my memory forever! It made me wonder where in the world by baby has gone....
Ready to go
Ready to go
Posin' with Daddy
And Mama...
So excited to be on the school grounds..LOL!
This is the first thing he went to...The big, blue boat
About to snatch that truck from Cole...We're still working on the whole sharing thing!LOL! Give him a break though, he's an only child!
Fixing himself a microwavable pizza...LOL!
Sitting, but not for long...LOL!
Walking to the truck with Ms. Karen...Just check out that smile! I'd say he had a good day!
Look at him carrying his little bookbag...It's almost as big as him!
He's such a big boy, and words cannot even express how truly proud I am of him. This was a big day and he took it all in stride and confidence. I pray that is how he always approaches challenges in his life. Excuse me now, while a go weep for a little longer!LOL!
