3 years ago today at 7:11pm, Brandon Rhett Lilly entered this world, and stole his Mama's (and Daddy's) heart! I can't even tell you how blessed we feel to be the parents of such a special little boy. He's growing up so fast and making us so proud, but he'll always be my baby. Since his party was on Saturday, we were able to relax and really enjoy just being with our little man on his special day. We had Homecoming at church, which is always so much fun being with all our friends and of course all the good food! Everyone at church sang a big Happy Birthday to Rhett and he cheesed like nobody's business the whole time! LOL! Rhett played his little heart out and DID NOT want to go home! We spent the rest of the afternoon being lazy, until Brandon decided to take Rhett on a "Boy's Trip" (of which I was not invited..LOL) to spend some of his birthday money. We sang Happy Birthday to Rhett about a million times and he LOVED it more and more each time. Later that night, I snuggled with my baby, smelled his sweet hair, and thanked God over and over for getting to be his Mommy.
