A while back, Brandon bought a kite from Wal-Mart for Rhett for a dollar. Since then, he (Brandon, that is) has been dying to take it for a spin!LOL! Yesterday, it looked like a storm was brewin' and the winds were right, so we headed down to the lake to try it out.
If you look close you can see the kite at the very top. Once Brandon showed him the ropes, he told Daddy to move so he could do it "self"!LOL!
You could tell by his expressions that he couldn't quite figure it out, but he was mesmerized!LOL!
He let it go a couple of times (I think he did it just so he could laugh at Mommy and Daddy chase it like crazy!) and once it got stuck in a tree. As you can tell by the smile on his face though, Daddy saved it! (Oh, and note what kind of kite it is....The boy has it bad for Mickey Mouse!)
