Independence Day

For the 4th, the usual group from our neighborhood all got together for some good food, playin' at the lake, and some fireworks! Rhett ran wild all day, and I have no idea how he made it until 11:00 with no nap...Sure wish I had me some of that energy!LOL!

Watchin' the fireworks with Memaw D. and Baylie

See that in Memaw's hand....That would be the end of on one of the fireworks. Somehow that little booger found it's way down Memaw's shirt...Talk about funny! You should have seen how fast she came out of her seat...I mean, what are the chances?LOL! Of course, we made sure she was OK before we laughed! ;) OK, maybe we didn't, but we tried!LOL!

Watching the fireworks from Granddaddy's lap...Rhett loved them! He kept saying "Awww, look at that one" and "They're so pretty" and "Ooooh, that was a big one,Mama"

Not sure exactly what this was...Some kind of souped up sparkler maybe? Whatever they were, Rhett loved them!

Daddy was part of the Official Lake Alapaha Firework Crew (LOL!!!), but after they were done, him and Rhett started on the sparklers!

Is that a face of trouble or what?LOL!

Mad because we ran out of sparklers....What a pitiful face!LOL!
